Swallows ready to leave

Now open.
The Bar has been open for 3 days now and we've already met lots of our old friends and made new ones too.
This Wednesday and every Wednesday throughout the season, the amazing Michael Buble will be performing. Don't miss him if you're on the Island!
We will soon be open for food again, with some exciting additions to out menu...when we eventually get it back from the printers!

Not quiet ready!
The Green Frog Supermarket is full of boxes all needing pricing and all needing to be arranged on shelves, stands etc. It takes forever! And the weather outside is just amazing whilst inside the supermarket it's is freezing. The joys of living in Greece.

25 March Parade
Wild windy day for the parade today. The harbour turned into what looked like a jacuzzi, fishing boats disappearing under waves and the poor school kids that had to pass that way got drenched. Great entertainment while we sat drinking coffee....inside!

Crocodile Hunt
Last week there was a rumour about a giant crocodile lurking under the bridge by the smelly river on the way into town. Fortunately, thanks to Alan, Mandy and many volunteers he has been caught and is now back in the Green Frog supermarket. Rest assured you can now be safe in Zante !

Zante walking group
Despite some slightly hungover, unenthusiastic members, inclement weather conditions and 130 or so pre walk messages debating whether to stay in bed or not, we finally met in Agalas.
We walked about 7km (felt like 170). I'd like to say I feel better for it...BUT...not sure if I do!
Enjoying the log burner, tv and the sofa now.
Can't wait for Taebo tomorrow. So much for a quiet, relaxing winter!

My God...it works!
Getting ready now for Saturday Night Fever at the Green Frog. Got an amazing 70's dress designed by Vanessa and some spider like black and gold false eye lashes that are supposed to be really easy to apply! Should be some lovely pics of Alan with a moustache and flares ready to post tomorrow. Guess we won't be too excited about getting up in the morning for the Sunday trek around Keri. So here's hoping for a good turn out and John Travolta...or preferably George Clooney!
